Rajasthan Bus Sarathi Yojana 2023 is made effective to meet the shortage of operators in Rajasthan Transport Corporation and make maximum use of resources and vehicle available buses to increase income, for which Rajasthan Roadways Bus Sarathi Recruitment is being organized. Under this scheme, the recruitment of bus charioteers is being done on a contract basis. Bus Sarthi recruitment will be done only in the posts of the bus operator.
For this, official notification has been issued by Rajasthan Transport Corporation for direct recruitment without examination. Candidates will be selected in Bus Sarthi Yojana on the basis of educational qualification without any examination for Rajasthan Roadways Bus Recruitment. Interested candidates of the state can apply for recruitment from 1st May 2023. Applications will be accepted for Rajasthan Bus Sarathi Yojana 2023 offline only.

The major functions of Rajasthan Bus Sarathi will be the same as that of Rajasthan Bus Operator. The description of the tasks of the bus charioteer is as follows.

- DSA has to be received from booking houses and the bill has to be generated by entering in ETIM.
- Bus charioteer himself will have to arrange for the operator’s license, badge, and uniform prescribed under the Motor Vehicles Act.
- It will be mandatory for the bus charioteer to wear a nameplate on his uniform.
- Passengers will have to be picked up by the bus companion from the designated bus stand of the route and a maximum number of passengers will have to be picked up in the bus.
- In case of non-fulfillment of prescribed responsibilities on the road, the responsibility of the operator will have to be fulfilled.
Bus Sarthi Salary Amount
Under the Rajasthan Bus Sarathi Yojana 2023, the candidates to be selected in the Rajasthan Roadways Recruitment 2023 will be given the salary amount according to the kilometer. The bus conductor will be given a salary of Rs 13,000 for 10,000 kilometers per month. Apart from this, if the bus runs more than 10,000 kilometers every month, the operator will be given Rs 1.5 separately for every 1 kilometer.

Selection process for Rajasthan Bus Sarathi Yojana 2023
Keeping the following points in mind, the bus charioteer or bus operator will be selected for Rajasthan Bus Sarathi Yojana.
- In case more than one candidate applies for a bus service, the candidate who fulfills the target of the maximum daily horoscope will be selected as Bus Sarathi for the bus service/schedule.
- All the scheduled buses plying on a route or route will not be operated simultaneously. So that it can compete with other buses of the corporation. But it will not be necessary not to do so.
- In case of increase in passenger fare rates, the fixed targets will be increased which will be acceptable by the bus operator.
- Monthly passes and other fixed VIP services such as Women’s Day and Rakshabandhan, free and compulsory travel in vehicles of examinees, and authorized schedules in competitive examinations will be included in the revenue.
- Under this scheme, a one-month contract can be made with the bus driver.
- The bus operator will be able to apply for a route change in the last week of the calendar month during the contract period. After which a new route will be given by the chief manager of the committee from the first day of the next month.
How many holidays will the bus charioteer get under the Rajasthan Bus Sarathi Scheme?
Rajasthan Bus Sarathi will get the following holidays. Whose details are as follows.
- Under the Rajasthan Bus Sarthi Yojana, the bus charioteer will be given a weekly holiday of 4 days per month.
- If the conductor remains absent for more than 5 days without intimation, then the bus charioteer will not be paid a salary for the days of absence.
- Rs 500 and GST extra (up to 5 days) will be recovered equally to the salary amount in lieu of absenteeism to the bus driver.
- Apart from this, on the basis of prior written information, in special circumstances, the bus charioteer can be given leave for a maximum of 10 days by the Chief Manager.
- But no salary will be paid to the bus conductor on holidays.
Eligibility for Rajasthan Bus Sarthi Yojana 2023
- For Rajasthan Bus Sarathi Yojana, the applicant must have passed class X from a recognized institution or board.
- The applying candidate will have to produce a valid driving license and badge.
- The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 65 years. ,
- Two attested character certificates of the level of Gazetted Officer will have to be submitted.
